In the last few weeks, the Government of Sierra Leone has been following the COVID-19 situation globally with increasing concern. While case counts have plateaued in some countries, other countries have had high transmission and an exponential increase in cases, which has been attributed to new variants of the SARS COV-2 virus. However, No COVID 19 Test is required.

A vaccination certificate for yellow fever is required if traveling to and from certain areas. You should take anti-malaria tablets and consult your doctor or specialist travel clinic at least six to eight weeks prior to travel regarding other health precautions for traveling to tropical regions.
